Adrian Gifford
Adrian was involved in founding Headline Pictures with Stewart Mackinnon and Mark Shivas, becoming a director of the company in 2006.
He took over as Chairman of the company following Mark’s death in 2008. Adrian brings a wide range of legal, financial and business experience to the company.
After graduating from St Andrews University in 1970, Adrian worked for several years as an engineer on the deep level gold mines in South Africa and the Skeleton Coast diamond fields in Namibia before returning to the UK and requalifying as a solicitor.
He recently retired as a senior partner at a leading UK law firm based in Newcastle upon Tyne. He is also Chairman of Samling, the organisation for training young classical singers, as well as a trustee of several charities.
